About Sammo
Samuel, Temitope Ojo popularly known by his fans as Sammo was born on the 6th of march, 2000. He hails from Ekiti State and grew up in the streets of Agbado, Oke-Aro in Ogun State. At the age of 6, he started playing the drums and singing at a local church. In 2012, he started playing the keyboard as a prodigy at a very early age of 13. He played for some churches, celebrity artistes and produced for some of them too.
Sammo's musical genius is evident even from a first encounter listening to his music. Sammo is recent graduate of psychology from the University of Lagos, akoka. Nigeria. While he was in school, he used his music to garner a lot of traction and released an EP project in 2020 titled MAD Sound the EP. This project gave him some traction and went on over 700k organic streams which is quite impressive for an artist who started with no label or sponsorship - just pure passion and excellence met with fan love as seen especially in the comment sections of his releases on Audiomack. He has no doubt, won the hearts of many with his unique and adventurous music with a loveable personality to match. He is passionate about African sound and he hopes to take her beyond borders imaginable.
